iT8PMIS08T - iStoragePro 8 Bay Safari 2.5" Mini-SAS JBOD "LOW NOISE" Enclosure with 1-TB drives
The iStoragePro iT8PMIS Mini-SAS interface provides a cost effective solution without compromising performance. When used with a PCIe RAID controller, the iT8 Mini-SAS enclosure can easily be configured as a RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 & JBOD, capable of providing performance and fault-tolerance necessary to protect your video data. The iT8PMIS enclosure system can be used with any PCIe RAID or SAS controller having SFF-8088 ports to provide data protection from a drive failure.
Due to it’s dedicated drive channel design the iT8PMIS is fast enough to support multi-track audio and multi-stream video and is a great solution for on site HD video capture. The iT8PMIS is capable of 651 MB⁄s write and 691 MB⁄s read speeds depending on what drive and controller is used. The studio-grade low noise cooling system making it adaptable and compatible with any studio control room configuration or on set capture.
