  The iStoragePro iR16SAE6G Rack Enclosure is equipped with the new 6G high performance SAS expansion technology, designed with one Mini-SAS 8088 cable connection to a computer installed 6G SAS Controller. This efficient SAS interface provides a cost effective solution without compromising performance or reliability. When the iR16-6G is connected to a 6G SAS Card, it can easily be configured as a RAID 0, 1, 5, 6,10 & JBOD, and is capable of providing the performance and fault-tolerance necessary to protect your valuable video data.

  The iR16SAE6G Enclosure connects to your computer installed SAS Controller with 1 Mini-SAS 8088 cable allowing up to 1334 MB⁄s Reads and 1541 MB⁄s Writes while configured as a RAID 5. In addition this enclosure is capable of expanding to 384 TB using up to 7 additional iR16SAE6G Expander Enclosures, up to 128 drives.
