This exceptional enclosure is a great way to capture your photographic images in the field or just for the security of having a backup drive along. The small size makes this enclosure easy to slip into a briefcase or camera bag. The drive can be powered by the included power supply or directly from the Firewire port. The housing is aluminum for strength and heat dissipation. Unlike most compact drive enclosures the MG12 will accept the taller 12.5 mm drives allowing for up to 1-TB of high capacity storage.
This kit combines the MG12 enclosure with an installed Toshiba 1-TB hard drive that’sready to go when you get it. The Toshiba drive is designed for low power consumption while still offering a large storage capacity. It’s an excellent combination especially if you’re planning to bus power the drive.
