Select your choice of either this Burly One Bay with an eSATA Connection or the BurlyLiteFWPX with Firewire 1394b and USB2.0 connections on the back. We’ll include the external cables as well so you can plug into just about any computer imaginable.

  The Burly comes with an internal 50 watt power supply and cooling fan providing the cleanest desktop with no brick power supply to add to your collection. This Burly is future upgradeable with whatever new optical technology comes out replacing DVD-R and DVD-RAM in the future. The Burly Lite enclosure will be able to handle most any device you care to use in it down the line including hard drives.

Plextor SuperDrive

  Burly Storage has always liked the Plextor burners and this one is no exception. Superior speeds in all categories. Reliable and natively supported by OSX in both Disk Burn and iDVD. The PX-L890SA is a native SATA drive, keeping the data connection SATA all the way. Must be used with ATAPI friendly SATA ports.

  If your computer doesn’t have an external SATA Port you can usually install a Host Card that will provide several ATAPI and Port Multiplier capable SATA ports at a minimal cost.
