 The iStoragePro iT8PMIS Mini-SAS interface provides a cost effective solution without compromising performance. The iT8PMIS system can be used in editing with Apple Final Cut Pro® and Adobe® Premiere® Pro CS4 video editing software. It's compatible with video capture cards from AJA, Blackmagic Design, Bluefish444 and Matrox. When used with a PCI-E RAID controller, the iT8PMIS Mini-SAS Enclosure can easily be configured as a RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 & JBOD, capable of providing performance and fault-tolerance necessary to protect your video data.
Compatible with Popular Video Software & Operating Systems
The iT8PMIS enclosure system can be used with any PCI-E RAID controller having SFF-8088 ports to provide RAID5 level protection. Due to it's dedicated drive channel design it's fast enough to support multi-track Audio and multi-stream video formats including DV, HDV, DVCPRO HD, ProRes 422 in uncompressed SD playback mode and single-stream 10-bit HD uncompressed, 1080i capture mode. Its speed exceeds 691MB⁄Sec depending on what drive and controller are used. This is a great storage solution for digital content creators, digital audio & music production, video post-production, graphic design, digital photography, pre-press, D2D backup, video surveillance and game programing. The iT8PMIS version enclosure is equipped with a studio-grade low noise cooling system making it adaptable and compatible with any studio control room configuration or on set capture
