Burly Low Noise Enclosures - a Quiet - high performance storage solution
Professional grade Burly Low Noise Firewire⁄USB 2.0 enclosures are perfect for the studio. Each enclosure ships with well proven Oxford 924 bridges, built in power supplies and low noise high-tech Vantec chassis cooling fans to keep the drives cool. Trayless bays make drive swapping easy and convenient.
Every effort has been made to make the Burly Low Noise Enclosure line as quiet as possible for acceptable studio use. The trayless bays used don’t have individual drive fans which greatly reduces the noise output. Sound is further lowered by installing high-tech Vantech low noise fans to replace the standard fans on the backplane and in the power supply. The high-tech chassis fans provide adequate cooling to keep the drives at an acceptable operating temperature. These features make the Burly Low Noise Enclosure line perfect for the studio and on-set photo or video capture.
Burly low noise enclosures are available with retail version Seagate or Hitachi SATAIII drives which have proven to us to be the most dependable and long lasting. These drives all have the full manufacturers 3 year warranty. We’ll install the drives, test and format them so the enclosure is ready to go to work when you get it.
