This 3 into 2 SAS Drive Bay allows you to mount 3 SAS or SATA drives into the space of 2 5.25" standard bays. Using skeletonized trays it allows the drives to be hot swapped. This enclosure allows dual data paths when used with SAS drives, single path when SATA drives are installed. Anti shock buffers are incorporated into each tray to avoid vibration damage. Each drive chassis has an integral fan for drive cooling that's nearly silent. Powered by two standard 4 pin Molex connectors.
